Flavor or venture you savor... Vegas offers the hotel style, activities and food sure to please. Another Vegas miracle is the “The Cloud”. The 2 acres mushroom form shades the entrance to Fashion Show Mall, where you’ll find wonderful department stores, such as Bloomingdale’s Home, Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Dillard’s, Robinson May, in addition to 250 specialty shops and restaurants.
Las Vegas… Where miracles come in all sizes!
Glitz, glamour! Razzle – dazzle! It’s all there flashing neon lights, mega bill-boards, entertainment supreme. A mecca for people from all over the world, and for people of all ages. Although, known for it’s bright lights and glittering gambling casinos, Las Vegas appeals to so many, because it offers great diversity. Want to ride an ocean wave while in the middle of the Nevada Dessert? Then Mandalay Bay is the perfect venue to fulfill your beach desires. Think you’ll miss the excitement of the Big Apple, au contraire! Lady Liberty towers over the mega skyscrapers next to hotel New York, New York where a roller coaster gyrates through the center of the hotel. If you’re feeling a bit exotic stroll down the Vegas strip where you will pass an Egyptian 50-ton sphinx guarding the entrance to the Luxor hotel There you’ll see waitresses costumed as Egyptian beauties waiting to serve your beverage of choice built as a huge pyramid, it’s apex is a mega beam of light, of 315,000 watts, equivalent to 40 billion candles illuminating the Vegas sky, ever seen in space by the astronauts.
For French flair, there’s the L’arc de Triomphe replicated on the strip as part of the French grounds of the Paris Hotel.
A Fantasy Land for Saints and Sinners!
Vegas is an adult fantasy land, where dreams can be filled whether you’re a saint or a sinner. In recent years Vegas has been catering to families with children, building hotels in castle-like shapes such as the Excalibur where a dinner without eating utensils is a must: and Lancelot styled hero’s joust for maidens of fair beauty. The same sparkle seen in a young child’s eyes when the lights of the Christmas tree are first turned on, is the same look you’ll see on the face of a first time visitor to Las Vegas. Glitz abounds from the sequined costumes, feathered headpieces to tempting arrays of culinary delights. There’s Asian fusion to Wolfgang Pucks Italian “Cuccino” (Talk about a mixing of cultures.) That’s just the start. Las Vegas is a true melting pot where visitors of every nationality are drawn to the many facets and variety of first class entertainment at its best. There’s an excitement and energy everywhere and I do mean everywhere.
Walking is a must so bring comfortable shoes for day and 3 inch Cinderella slippers for evening. Just walking from one side of the MGM Grand to the other took 10 minutes at a fast pace. Don’t worry about eating all the great food in Vegas. A fabulous buffet can be as reasonable as $4.99, that’s another miracle that Vegas provides… the calories just vanish.
Cirque de Soleil
Las Vegas is a place to bedazzle you with sights such as the unique acrobatic contortions of Cirque de Soleil magical production of “O” at the Bellagio, or the free production at the forum shops of Caesars Place, where statues perceived to be of marble soon come alive. They engage in lifelike movements for the battle for the gods between fire and ice another the breath taking site is the football field sized conservatory of floral displays at the Bellagio. Ribbons of color sweep down from the forty-foot high ceiling transforming this glass conservatory into a spectacular feast of colors for the eyes and an fragrant experience for the nose. The footed flowers and topiaries are changed four times a year to coordinate with the colors of nature. Once again, another Vegas miracle.
